South Carolina Board of Accountancy Update
The latest issue of the SCACPA CPA Report includes an update from chair of the SC Board of Accountancy, Donny Burkett. He discusses a new law that requires the Board of Accountancy administrator to be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in South Carolina so that they can be fully informed on state-specific rules and regulations. It also dictates that administration must be the primary role of the administrator, so that he or she can be fully committed to the associated responsibilities.
