October’s Ladies Night Out for Breast Cancer a Success!

In October of 2015, we once again hosted Ladies Night Out at the Burkett Burkett & Burkett Certified Public Accountants, P.A. office in West Columbia. The event benefits the Lexington Medical Center’s Crystal Smith Fund for breast cancer. Smith worked for over two decades at the hospital. Ladies Night Out is hosted every year to commemorate Smith and others who have battled with breast cancer.

This year’s event was complete with appetizers, drinks, door prizes, and local vendors. While admission was free, donations were welcome. All proceeds went to support the foundation, which supplies wigs, mastectomy kits, and prosthetics to women undergoing cancer treatment.
