Matthew Hodges Promoted to Manager

The team at Burkett Burkett & Burkett Certified Public Accountants, P.A. is pleased to announce that Matthew Hodges has been elevated to the position of Manager at our West Columbia office.  Matthew began his journey with Burkett Burkett & Burkett Certified Public Accountants, P.A. while obtaining his Masters of Accountancy degree from the University of South Carolina. He interned in 2006 and 2007 under Ronny Burkett and Deven Fozdar, and was quickly attracted to the family-like environment.

Matthew specializes in assurance services for the firm, including financial and compliance audits, government audits, HUD audits, as well as personal and business tax services. His new position allows him to direct audit field work, review working papers, and provide training for government, non-profit, and business financial and compliance audits.

We are so proud of Matthew’s accomplishments and his commitment to continuing our firm’s tradition of putting people first.

Matthew currently lives in Lexington, SC with his wife Natasha and three children.
