Donny Burkett Receives Nomination for Vice Chair of NASBA

On Monday, March 31, NASBA’s Nominating Committee met to select a candidate for NASBA Vice Chair 2014-2015. I am pleased to present Donald (Donny) H. Burkett, CPA, of West Columbia, South Carolina, as the Committee’s nominee.

Currently, Donny is the chairman of the South Carolina Board of Accountancy. During his 12 years on the Board, he served his first term as chairman from 2007-2009 and also served as vice chair (2005-2007) and secretary (2004-2005).
